Hallo & Willkommen
I am Eric Ritter and passionate about advertising in the digital world – with a focus on digital strategy.
How I got here
I graduated from the University of Florida’s Master of Advertising program. After getting my feet wet in traditional advertising and branding I took my love for technology and advertising to the next level and went 100% digital.
I am a big believer in the “move fast and break stuff” mentality. In my opinion, it’s the only way to do digital right.
I currently live in beautiful Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, and love every second of it.
Teaching is one of my passions and I currently am the Digital Media Instructor at the University of South Florida in the Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications.
On a day-to-day basis, I help brands reach their digital potential. This begins with getting to know every client and what their exact needs and goals are. It continues with developing a custom digital strategy that is right for them. I put tactics in place to reach digital goals that include paid advertising, social media marketing on such platforms as Facebook, YouTube, or twitter, as well as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), web analytics, and anything else in-between. I enjoy bringing fresh ideas to the table based on cutting edge online trends.
In my limited spare time, I enjoy the company of my amazing son, fitness, Star Wars, anything Apple or Florida Gators, and a good beer.
Please feel free to browse my site and contact me if you have any questions.
What I’ve learned along the way
1) You can no longer buy people’s attention – you have to earn it.
2) Content is king.
3) Don’t forget about the context.
4) Move fast and break things.
5) As a marketer, you always have to do one of two things: answer a question or solve a problem.
